Milos Raonic to Join JMTP Pro Am for Youth Tennis Initiative

The 11th Annual JMTP Pro Am, set for August 16, 2025, at SPORTIME Amagansett, gains another tennis luminary as Milos Raonic confirms his participation. Raonic, a Wimbledon finalist, will team up with tennis greats including John and Patrick McEnroe, Marion Bartoli, James Blake, and others for a day of competition aimed at fundraising for the Johnny Mac Tennis Project (JMTP). This event, renowned as the largest one-day Pro Am globally, plays a pivotal role in JMTP’s mission to dismantle economic and social barriers for underprivileged youth by offering them tennis access and scholarships to the John McEnroe Tennis Academy.

Since its inception in 2012, JMTP has impacted over 16,000 New York City children and awarded more than 500 scholarships, fostering not only athletic skills but also opening doors to educational and professional opportunities. The Pro Am event is a cornerstone of these efforts, pairing amateur players with tennis legends across eight flights to raise essential funds. Attendees can also engage in auctions for unique items and experiences, contributing further to the cause.

Tickets for the event are available at proam2025.givesmart.com, with activities kicking off at 2:00 pm. The inclusion of high-profile players like Raonic underscores the tennis community’s commitment to inclusivity and the belief that talent and passion for the sport should not be hindered by socioeconomic status. Ryann Cutillo, Executive Director of JMTP, emphasizes the significance of such support in advancing the organization’s goals and the broader message of equality in tennis.
