The Symphonia and Boca Raton Museum of Art to Host ‘Venetian Refractions’ Event

The Symphonia, South Florida’s premier chamber orchestra, in partnership with the Boca Raton Museum of Art, is set to present ‘Venetian Refractions: A Night of Art, Music, and Italian Indulgence’ on Friday, September 26. This unique event promises an immersive experience combining the visual arts with live music and gourmet dining, set against the backdrop of the Museum’s Glasstress Boca Raton 2025 exhibit.

The evening will commence with cocktails in the Museum’s Sculpture Garden, followed by an exclusive after-hours tour of the Glasstress exhibit, accompanied by Italian music performed by Symphonia musicians. A gourmet four-course Italian dinner, each course paired with fine Italian wines and music, will follow. Presentations by the chef, sommelier, Symphonia Director, and Museum Curator will enrich the experience, creating a seamless connection between flavors, music, and visual art.

Glasstress, a project originating in Venice, Italy, aims to elevate glass artistry to the realm of fine art by bringing together international artists to experiment with the medium. The Glasstress Boca Raton 2025 exhibit features over 20 works by globally renowned artists, including Sean Scully, Thomas Schütte, and María Magdalena Campos-Pons, among others.

Annabel Russell, Executive Director of The Symphonia, describes the event as a celebration of artistic innovation and cultural collaboration, offering a rare opportunity to engage with Italian artistry across multiple dimensions. The event is sponsored by Boca Raton Magazine, with additional support from Drowos Private Wealth. Tickets are priced at $125 per person and can be purchased through thesymphonia.org.

Located at 501 Plaza Real in Boca Raton, the Boca Raton Museum of Art continues to serve as a vital cultural resource, attracting visitors from across the region and beyond. This event underscores the Museum’s commitment to fostering creative life and cultural exchange through innovative programming.
